46th W&J Show 2019 – What’s in store

With the grand success of the past 45 editions to its credit, the upcoming MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show is set to provide regional jewellery industry an excellent platform to connect, network, share ideas, and discover latest trends and generate business opportunities. Targeting both general consumers as well as the trading community, it will be the single largest display of the world's most desirable jewellery collections in the Middle East region. The show will be celebrating its silver jubilee with its 46th and 47th editions in 2019. What started off with a handful of exhibitors 25 years ago is now the most attended event of its kind in the region. It is the largest and the longest running event of its kind, with regular participants, some right from the beginning.

The show already has confirmed booking of over 500 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, who will exhibit their chosen creations at more than 30,000 sq m of premium exhibition space. Since the market is known for bulk purchases and its passion for luxury products, several exhibitors usually plan their regional product launches, previews and exclusive displays of rare and signature works at the MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show. The show’s high-spending customers’ base includes the region’s royalty, VVIPs, bulk buyers, tourists and jewellery lovers. The show on average attracts close to 60,000 visitors. Apart from its social media presence, the show utilises nearly 10 social media influencers who have millions of followers to promote the event among potential exhibitors and visitors.

>Japan Pavilion made its debut in the national pavilions’ section of the previous show. Now, apart from Japan, visitors can explore finest gold & diamond jewellery creations from Hong Kong-China, India, Italy, Malaysia, Lebanon, Turkey, Thailand, Singapore and China at the national pavilions section.

Incredible prizes are another key factor that makes the show a popular one. Spend a minimum of Dhs 500 (US$135) and buyers get a chance to qualify for a daily raffle draw and win fabulous prizes. On the fifth and final day of the show, a mega prize awaits lucky buyers. This is apart from the prizes that exhibitors offer at their individual booths.
