GOLD/ITALY: COUNTDOWN TO THE ITALIAN JEWELLERY INDUSTRY'S AUTUMN EVENT ORGANIZED BY IEG - ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP

A brief summary of the Show's highlights: buyers from 30 countries, 100% Made in Italy brands, a new digital format, 3 exhibition areas

The countdown has begun to GOLD/ITALY, the Show that promotes the very best of Made in Italy jewellery production on an international scale, organized in Arezzo by Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A. (IEG) and scheduled to take place from 20th the 22nd October.

An exclusive stage that presents the world with the creative innovation of selected manufacturing companies from all the Italian gold districts: Arezzo, Vicenza, Valenza, Torre del Greco, Milan.

An indispensable event for specialized buyers from 30 countries that will be hosted and introduced to the exhibitors to favour a profitable dialogue in a strategic moment of the year.

An intensely business-oriented new format with an innovative digital business matching programme will accompany the traditional and successful trade show model.

The value of the Show, which offers the entire sector a moment for business and comparison, is enormous and this year, the new digital format will make it even more effective.

The new project is a perfect integration between a digital and physical tool: it provides an on-line platform in which companies will be able to select buyers from the organizations that, in terms of type, target and dimension, most suit their own distribution needs and buyers will be able to identify the producers that are most in line with their clientele to prepare and lay the foundations for factual and concrete meetings.

Operating on the platform, each company can fix up to 12 appointments in order introduce themselves, exchange preliminary information and preview the contents of meetings which will then take place inside the Arezzo Exhibition Centre during the course of GOLD/ITALY.

And, on its debut, the new format is already a success! To date, over 650 meetings have already been fixed between the companies and expectant buyers even before the trade show turnstiles open.

Truly a great result which, on the one hand affirms IEG's ability to offer functional and concrete tools to support the sector, and on the other, proves Italian small and medium-sized enterprises' receptiveness to innovative incentives and the manufacturing districts' propensity towards experimenting new forms and ways to do business.

In regard to the traditional trade show model, as usual the Show, now at its 6th edition, will feature three special exhibition areas.

The first exhibition area dedicated to jewellery will present the most qualified Italian gold-art production with the best expression, extraordinary design and excellent innovative creativity of gold manufacturing.

The second area is Cash & Carry which offers companies the opportunity to sell ready-made goods; a dynamic and innovative space aimed at Italian and foreign retailers that will be able to select and buy a wide variety of products and admire the latest ideas for the coming Christmas season, a peak moment for the market.

The third area, called Gold/Italy Tech, is an exclusive technology showcase which, the more techniques and machinery evolve and the possibilities of putting creativity into production increase, is becoming more and more important.

Last but not least, is the important and highly attractive section dedicated to packaging. Here, retailers and producers can come directly into contact with experts in visual merchandising and packaging able to offer personalized products and solutions.

The trade show's plentiful offer is joined by the splendid hospitality of the city of Arezzo which is preparing to celebrate the Show and its guests with a "Gold Night"- an evening of open boutiques, events and special initiatives in the historical centre streets. Exhibitors and traders will also be most welcome to attend the opening cocktail event, on invitation, in the new SUGAR showroom on Saturday, 20th October at 7.30 pm in Palazzo Lambardi with the collaboration of UNOAERRE.

A valuable partner of the Show is UBI Banca which has activated the promotion of services specifically for the sector in all the Italian gold districts, serving a growing number of companies as qualified players for the gold market. It is therefore particularly involved in the Show.
