GIA India Offers Fee Waivers on Educational Programmes
During IIJS Signature 2020

Applicable from Feb. 10-21, 2020, for enrolling in the
Institute’s diploma and certificate programmes

Aspiring students who wish to embark on a career in the gem and jewellery industry can now take advantage of GIA India’s special fee waivers during IIJS Signature 2020. GIA India is offering fee waivers for its education programmes in Mumbai, Surat and New Delhi. This fee waiver is applicable from Feb. 10 to Feb. 21, 2020, for the Institute’s diploma and certificate programmes – including the industry’s most prestigious credential, Graduate Gemologist®. To learn more, meet with GIA India representatives at Booth # ALM017 or visit GIAindia.in/fee-waivers.

GIA India will also be showcasing laboratory offerings including the latest GIA Diamond Origin Report along with a live demonstration of the GIA iD100® gem testing device. The GIA Diamond Origin Report uses scientific evaluation of the polished diamond, matching it to its original rough to provide confirmation of a diamond’s geographic origin. The GIA iD100 is an easy-to-operate desktop instrument that distinguishes natural diamonds from laboratory-grown (HPHT and CVD) diamonds and diamond simulants.

Visitors can also attend complimentary seminars at Booth # INN037 and learn more about the latest GIA laboratory-grown diamond research and how to detect laboratory-grown diamonds.

“Many in the industry understand the importance of a GIA credential and the recognition and credibility it adds to their careers and businesses,” said Nirupa Bhatt, Managing Director of GIA India and Middle East. “The special fee waivers we are offering during IIJS Signature 2020 will aid students, professionals and businessmen to take up GIA’s diploma and certificate programmes.”

Recently, GIA announced $2 million in scholarships for 2020. Applications for 2020 scholarships are available at GIA.edu/scholarships and are due by March 31.
