IEG – At OROAREZZO 2019, initiatives and
exclusive events for sector insiders

‘Gold Days’ are expected at OROAREZZO, the show that promotes the very best in Made in Italy jewellery manufacture on an international scale, organized by Italian Exhibition Group and scheduled to take place from 6th to 9th April at Arezzo Exhibition Centre.

Besides promoting top quality Made in Italy production, OROAREZZO is the ideal context for developing business and expanding networking.

With the consolidated collaboration of MISE (Italian Ministry of Economic Development) and ICE (Italian Trade Agency), the incoming of over 450 top international buyers from Made in Italy’s main sales areas and the targeted participation of Italian retailers have been organized.

Furthermore, this year IEG, together with ICE Meccanica (the Trade Agency’s Mechanical Engineering branch) and AFEMO (Italian Association of Jewellery Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters) will be organizing specific incoming for those countries that are currently in most need of technologies, for example, Indonesia, Algeria, Morocco, Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Peru, with the participation of 30 companies.

Exhibitors will thus be able to seize business opportunities, initiate interesting contacts and introduce their collections to top buyer delegations in attendance at OROAREZZO.

During the Show, events, exclusive cocktails and initiatives will be organized for all the traders and buyers set to throng to the Exhibition Centre.

The programme foresees:

On Saturday 6th April, starting at 7.30 pm, a welcome cocktail sponsored by UNO AERRE Spa addressed to exhibitors, buyers and journalists will take place at Sugar, in the prestigious historic Palazzo Lombardi, transformed by Beppe Angiolini into an international concept store for fashion.

Monday, 8th April, on the other hand, will provide the opportunity, between 6.30 and 7.30 pm, to experience the “City of Goldtour”, which includes a guided tour of the city, the Ivan Bruschi Casa Museo Antiques Museum (Corso Italia 14), which houses an eclectic collection of ten thousand Arezzo antiques, and the “Arezzo Treasures” itinerary (Palazzo di Fraternità dei Laici), which includes a selection of over 100 pieces of jewellery in the Gold Art Collection created over the years by Oroarezzo exhibitors and designed by famous designers, architects and stylists.

The initiative is sponsored by UBI Banca and co-organized by Confguide Confcommercio Arezzo and Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo.

Lastly, OROAREZZO traders will be given a “Gold Card” valid for obtaining special offers and exclusive discounts at city centre stores.
