The 29th International Jewellery Exhibition ARU in Astana finished with success on November 12, 2017 once again confirming itself as the largest specialized jewelry exhibition in Kazakhstan and Central Asia as well. The exhibition was attended by over 100 exhibitors, of which more than 20 companies presented jewelry for the first time within ARU.

Those companies include: Uglich Watch Factory (Russia, Yaroslavl Region, Uglich) - a watch manufacturer that carefully preserves the ancient traditions of Russian watchmakers; Olimp (Russia, Moscow) produces watch cases and watches made of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) with precious and semiprecious stones; Yerevan Jewelry Plant - 1 "GNOMON" (Armenia, Yerevan) produces men's and women's watches with Swiss movements ETA, Ronda, the Japanese movement Citizen as well as the movement of Russian company Polet. For the first time at the exhibition, jewelry items with amber from manufacturing companies from Kaliningrad region were presented in a large range - Amulet, Baltijskie Uzory, Darwin Jewelry Studio, EAS. A group of companies attended the exhibition from Armenia. It is commonly known that Armenian jewelers are world famous for their skills in jewelry making - Bojo, Diamant Noir, GevArm, JCA, Mitario Gold. In addition, companies from Europe, namely Chartage Belgian Design (Belgium), Design&Style (Poland) and the representative of the Czech company Style Avenue took part in ARU exhibition in Astana. In those companies' booths, one could see the true charm and the style inherent to the European school of jewelry producing.

In addition, the exhibition gave an opportunity to personally see the achievements of jewelers from Kostroma, traditionally considered the jewelry center of Russia; famous Kubachi blackened silver from Dagestan; no less famous diamonds of Yakutia; African malachite from Congo; Kazakh national handmade jewelry. Despite the rich resources of Kazakhstan, jewelry manufacturing sector looks very modest. However, there is a number of Kazakhstani companies that are engaged in mass production of jewelry. Moreover, these companies from the very beginning of ARU project take an active part in them, which to a certain extent contributed to their professional growth and promotion in the market of Kazakhstan. A traditional feature of Aru exhibition is a "Golden jewelry box" drawing, traditionally held among the exhibition buyers daily. Customers who purchased jewelry at the fair had a chance to win jewelry during all days of the exhibition. Prizes were given by the following companies: Azamat Zoloto (Kazahstan, Astana), Brus (Kazahstan, Petropavlovsk), Visal Silver (Kazahstan, Almaty), Sterling Silver (Kazahstan, Astana), Di ARS (Russia, Perm), Kristall-L (Kazahstan, Almaty), Darya (Russia, Kostroma), Uveldi (Russia, Moscow), Olimp (Russia, Ekaterinburg), Rozita (Kazahstan, Astana). For participation in the drawing the exhibitors were given numerous announcements on a daily basis, which provided the exhibitors additional advertising. Thus, both the exhibitors and their visitors were satisfied, because the former took advantage of additional advertising, and the latter had a chance to win jewelry

ARU exhibition project has been held in Kazakhstan for almost 15 years and pleases both professionals of jewelry industry and connoisseurs of beauty.
