Philanthropist Firoz Merchant, Chairman and Founder of Pure Gold Jewellers, provided his support as part of his ongoing efforts towards developing trade relations between India and the UAE.

H.E Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Climate Change & Environment, presented various opportunities for Indian businesses in the UAE. In addition, he spoke about the future of food industry and the rapidly changing global climate.

In August this year, Philanthropist Firoz Merchant, received dual awards by the Indian Business Professional Council (IBPC) for his contributions and achievements making him the first & only expatriate to receive the prestigious awards. The “Business Excellence Award” was given for his outstanding leadership in business and the “Philanthropic Icon Award” for his contribution to society. The awards were presented by H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Cabinet Member and Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Government of UAE.
