Maha Al Sibai Jewellery was founded in the Year 2006 by Designer Maha Al Sibai who is an artist with a successful journey comprising of International Jewellery and Awards. Her passion for Jewellery Designing helped her support herself with academic, geological studies and manufacturing techniques. As an artist she believes and states, “ It is not good enough to have good taste and know how to draw and paint to become a designer, but it is essential to be well educated and knowledgeable of materials that you are using and techniques that should be used in each design, in order to have it executed and manufactured to qualify into a beautiful designer jewellery piece.
Maha was also a proud Ambassador of the World Gold Council’s design contest 2008 in the Middle East. As one of the remarkable names, she gained recognitions and carved her own path to become a successful jewellery brand spreading her work through exhibitions and Jewellery shows at the International level. Maha is based in Dubai which is an inspiring environment for every business, especially Jewellery. Maha has always been the Favourite in the media world who have coined her “Golden Maha”, “Queen of Jewellery in the Middle East” etc, only because Maha is one of the few Woman jewellery designerswho has worked her way to make a difference in the jewellery industry of the Middle Eastern Region.
Achievements:
- 2001: Won first place in the World Gold Council’s Arab Gold contest for Design in the formal jewellery category.
- 2002: Won first place in the World Gold Council’s Arab Gold contest for Design in the daily wear category.
- 2002: Earned a certificate of excellence for achievements in Jewellery Designing from World Gold Council.
- 2003: Earned a certificate of excellence as a finalist in the World Gold Council’s Gold Virtuosi 2 in Italy.
- 2008: Earned an HRD Diamond Grading Certificate from Antwerp.
- 2012: Opening the first Maha Al SIbai signature jewellery boutique in Jumeira, the most prestigious location in Dubai.
- 2014: Jury member for Abu Dhabi Jewellery Design Award.
- 2014: Maha Al Sibai washonored by the Egyptian minister of tourism for submitting and donating an exceptional jewelry art work for children of special needs.
- 2015: Opened the second boutique in Wafi Mall, Dubai.
- 2015-2016: Jury member of Abu Dhabi Jewelry design Award.
- 2015-2016: Jury member and a sponsor for the emerging artist category in Dubai international Jewellery Design Awards. Maha Al Sibai always maintained her position as supporting and encouraging emerging artist and art.
- 2016: Completed a course and a program with SGL for Colored Gemstone Professional.
- Maha Al Sibai always attends international conferences and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with the latest and focuses on the art and culture side as well as the trade in Jewelry.
- Last but not least, in the midst of this highly competitive world of jewellery design, Maha Al Sibai has established a unique signature of herown and she has been a promoter of avant-guarde in the world of Jewelry design.
