GJEPC facilitated a delegation visit to the Vicenza Gold Academy, one of Italy’s oldest and most respected jewellery training institutions, established in 1858. The delegation was led by Vijay Mangukiya, Convener of both the Studded Jewellery Panel and International Events Sub-Committee at GJEPC. The Academy is known for training professionals linked with global brands such as Roberto Coin, Damiani and Bulgari.

The visit focused on comparing Italian and Indian training models, understanding quality-led manufacturing practices, and exploring skill upgradation opportunities. Discussions also covered the feasibility of exchange programmes, including specialised training in Italy for Indian experts and reciprocal faculty exchanges to support knowledge sharing between the two countries.
