Palmonas, the demi-fine jewellery brand co-founded by entrepreneur Pallavi Mohadikar, has been recognised at the ET Startup Awards 2026, winning the prestigious ‘Women Ahead’ category.
Mohadikar brings a strong entrepreneurial track record to Palmonas. She previously built Karagiri, a digital-first sari brand, from the ground up before its acquisition by Mensa Brands in 2021. Rather than stepping away after the exit, she turned her attention to a new opportunity in jewellery.
Founded in 2022, Palmonas set out to reshape the way Indian consumers approach everyday jewellery. The brand focuses on demi-fine pieces that combine contemporary design with durability and skin-safe materials, positioning jewellery as an accessible part of everyday dressing rather than something reserved for special occasions.
Since its launch, Palmonas has scaled rapidly and emerged as a notable name in India’s growing demi-fine jewellery segment. The ET Startup Award recognises Mohadikar’s entrepreneurial journey and the brand’s growing influence on modern jewellery consumption.
